Well, I was supposed to really start focusing on nutrition this week. Spoiler Alert: I failed. Miserably. Public humiliation might help steer me in the right direction, so I’ll try to post some of the stuff I ate (and keep in mind, I’m probably forgetting some stuff).
MONDAY
I didn’t make it to yoga on Monday night. I don’t really have a good excuse other than I just wasn’t feeling it. I’ve had a busy week at work and it that makes working out at night *that* much more difficult. As far as food goes, here are the things I remember:
Breakfast: Fiber One Lemon Bar
Lunch: Steven and I met for lunch at the Days Off Deli. This was the first time I had ever been there. I wasn’t even feeling that hungry when I got there, but I still managed to eat all but about 2 bites of my Cheesesteak Hoagie and about 3/4 of my Old Bay fries. That was a lot of food!! And it was delicious!
Pre-dinner Snack: A slice of Lemon Pound Cake from Starbucks. Steven brought this home for me. I swear he is trying to sabotage my healthy eating plan.
Dinner: I did make a healthy salad for dinner tonight! I was proud of myself. It was very delicious.
TUESDAY
On Tuesday, Sam and I ran 5 miles together. Our runs are getting tough to schedule due to busy schedules, kids sports, and the fact that its starting to get dark earlier. We decided to meet at the Great Mill pool, where Gabby has swim practice. We started at the pool and then turned and ran down Chancellors Run Rd. We are going to have to find a new time and/or route soon though because it was getting dark by the time we got back. We both said we were feeling a little tired and didn’t think we would have a good run, but ended up running at a pretty speedy pace. We managed to increase our pace with each mile so I was happy about that.
Food Diary:
Breakfast: Fiber One Lemon Bar
Lunch: We had a pizza fundraiser at work so I had 2 slices of pizza and a cookie (or 2) for lunch
Dinner: Spaghetti
Dessert: Steven brought me home a frozen yogurt with plenty of toppings from YoKool since Makayla has dance class right next door. A big bowl. While he ate grapes.
Again, sabotage?
WEDNESDAY
Sam and I went to Body Pump tonight. Boy, the biceps track was tough to get through tonight! But we made it! The class was very crowded, but I’m glad we went because we are going to have to miss a couple of upcoming classes due to schedule conflicts.
Food Diary:
Breakfast: Fiber One Lemon Bar
Lunch: Steven and I met at Plaza Azteca for lunch. Lets just say that not a single chip remained in the basket by the end of lunch. I also had 2 chicken enchiladas and rice (I didn’t quite finish it all because I filled up on chips and white sauce, but I ate most of it).
Snack: Large cookie and a mini blueberry muffin
Dinner: Leftover Chili Soup from Sunday night
Dessert: 3 chips ahoy cookies
I suppose they say the first step of overcoming addiction is admitting you have a problem 🙂 So, there it is. I am going to try (again) to make some changes. Even if I can just cut out *some* of the snacks/desserts, I’ll be happy. Baby steps, people 🙂
All you can do is try as hard as you can . Steven sounds like your dad everytime I get started good he brings me a sweet treat .

Yep! He knows I have no will power. Once it’s in the house, I’m going to eat it!

Food is one of the true enjoyments in life. You work out hard so don’t be too hard on yourself. Plus, you look amazing. I know it’s good to be healthy about food…just let yourself have your treats now and again. You’ve always been so cute about loving your sweet tarts and runts. Ha ha!

Lori nailed it. Without being creepy; you are a very beautiful person inside and out and your husband is dastardly. He is definitely trying to sabotage you.
The man brings you yogurt, and he eats grapes…..hahahahaha. I love me some Bonds family.
